Couer d' Alene..first day on the rode

Wow, It was a long day today but very good riding. A little over 370 miles. We left Beacon Light Chevron a few minutes before 6 am. Were eating breakfast at the pancake house in McCall two hours later. Had lunch at Lewiston and checked out the Harley dealer there.
Got to Couer d' Alene about three and checked out the new harley dealership here.
Tom R. had a minor electrical problem with the starter on his bike. AAA plus saved the day by picking the bike up at the motel and delivering it to the dealer. After an hour or two they discovered the problem, repaired it, and all is well.
It is after midnight Mountain time as I write this. We were invited to a barbeque at one of Sal's and Mike H.s' soccer referee friends here in town. After a few miscues and an impromptu tour of Couer d' Alene we finally sat down to a well prepared patio meal. We are all stuffed and tired.
Off th Banff, Alberta, Canada in the morning. I will try to write more tomorrow night.
All for now...Randy!!!

Hi Randy,

No wonder you haven't hadany comments so far. It is almost impossible to be able to do so. I don't know haow many times I had to go through the same thing and they kept taking me back to the main page and deleting, I guess, everything I had already typed in. I gave up on commenting on Mandy's blog awhile back, because of the same thing.

Anyway... we think it's great that you are doing this and as dad says, we wish we were there! Dad says you are having trouble with your knee. I am SO SORRY to hear that. You must get that taken care of soon, so you won't have to worry about it any more. You should try to lose weight first though, so it won't be so dangerous to have surgery. Anyway... have a wonderful time! Your blog hasn't come through tonight yet, even though it's after midnight. When you called tonight, I was at Horseshoe Bend entertaining at the Senior Center there. Aunt Jeannie and my friend, Velma went with me.
Love you tons,
DAD and MOM
